Freaking out . . .

Okay, my book will be released in the next few hours and my chest is tightening up on me. My eyes are welling up with tears and I can barely breath. I'm so excited I'm making myself sick. I just can't believe this is finally happening for me. This is too freaky.

OMG. How do people handle their first release? I'm not doing so well.

Deep breaths, in, out, in
, out.

I must be weird - well, I know I am - but I did not freak out at my first book release. I just think you do your best, put it out there - if people like it great. If they don't then what the hell. However as for you I know you will kick arse and leave people wanting more...and I'm never wrong

Unfortunately, I do this to myself all the time. I will be fine with all the major events in my life, but within the last few hours leading up to each of them, I start to freak out. It doesn't matter if I am happy or even accepting of the event for weeks, months prior. On the day it will occur, I start having a panic attack.

Now I'm fine though since the event is in effect. But geez.

BTW, thank you for the vote of confidence. :-) It means more than you will ever know.
